THE MATERIALS MATTER
Paper texture. Cover weight. Cloth. Foil. Lamination. Endpapers. Binding.
The physical choices behind a book shape how it feels long before the reader reaches the first page.
PAPER & MATERIALS
The right paper changes how a book feels.
Interior paper influences everything from readability and image reproduction to opacity, bulk, weight, and the way a book feels in the hand. We help evaluate stocks based on your content, format, print method, page count, and production goals.

Uncoated
Natural, tactile stocks well suited to novels, nonfiction, journals, workbooks, and other text-forward publications.
Uncoated papers can range from smooth and refined to more tactile and character-rich, with options in white, natural, cream, and specialty shades.

Coated
Smooth, receptive stocks designed for crisp image reproduction, photography, illustration, and color-intensive content.
Available in a range of finishes and weights, coated papers can provide greater detail, color fidelity, and surface consistency where reproduction quality is a priority.

Specialty
Distinctive stocks selected for projects where paper itself becomes part of the design.
Recycled, colored, textured, premium, and other project-specific papers may be sourced based on production method, quantity, availability, and intended use.
